WOW! 2010 is finally here!

Well we finally got to 2010, and true to form all theories and conspiracies vanished with so much as the world ending! Looking back on the past decade, for me personally I saw allot of changes and experiences I'd care not to repeat, however in hind-sight, those memories are what makes me who I have become today. To top this year off, someone lost control on a corner on some ice and slammed into our new family 7 seater car. and left us with a very small VW Polo over the Christmas period. To make matters worse, the rental car had a very bad front wheel tracking misalignment. Making driving on icy roads unduly hazardous to say the least. The only reliable thing about the British weather,
it's reliably unreliable! All week, away on over the Christmas holiday we've had fairy mild weather for this time of year, but as soon as it's time to go home, it starts snowing with a good dash of freezing wind. At the beginning of another year we stand at the dawn of a whole new era in technology, moving forward the boundaries that are limited only by our imaginations. I predict that in the preceding decade we will witness the birth of true artificial intelligence. Is it going to be just something written in the words of fantasy novels, or a glimpse into our destined futures, a time of change that may be closer than we realise. What will happen when artificial intelligence becomes self aware, what then? |

Happy New Year to you Sir.  Are we talking about the very nice-looking blue Zafira you wrote about earlier? Sorry to hear about that.  I'm sure they'll fix it up nicely.

Happy new year to you as well Nick! Yes I was referring to our lovely new blue Zafira. We actually got it back yesterday, they done a pretty good job of repairing the door wheel and wing, however they have marked the inside of the door in two places with what looks to be a crowbar, that has quite badly dented the door framework. I'm happy to announce that after quite a long absence away from Qondio, I will be returning to continue contributing to the cause. And that reminds me, what's with the name change?, QONDIO, what happened to Qassia, did I miss something?
I know how you feel, the snow started falling about 1 1/2 hours ago and we are expecting maybe a foot by morning, which is more than the average for the whole of winter where we live! To make matters worse, we just got back from Florida at the weekend, so it feels really cold to us right now. Stay safe and I hope you get your car fixed ok.

We are in Essex which has just been dumped on with lots of snow, and oh so much more to come so it seems!!!!!
