Why file encryption is so important

If you own a laptop and travel with it frequently, you might want to consider installing an effective encryption software solution, however a good solution usually means spending a considerable amount of your hard earned money on one. Losing a laptop is not something I would like to experience again, and worse still losing all the accumulated data stored within it. To make matters worse, you would not want to have your banking details or other sensitive data stolen from your device, I know I've been there! Some new laptops have password protection built-in to help prevent data theft, however not all encrypt your data once it is secured. Keeping your sensitive data inside your computer, and away from the effects of hackers, thieves, and on-line fraudsters has become a daily worry for many business computer users. Gladly I can say that after much searching the internet for a cost effective solution, I came across Comodo Security website. They offer a wide range of free and commercial security solutions, one of which is a FREE Encryption utility. I don't want to make this sound like advertising or butt sucking Comodo, it's just their Disk Encryption software saved my bacon and business and could well help you, so it's worth a shameless plug in my book! If you own a laptop, it will pay you not to ignore this advice. Don't take my word for it, check the firewall test website for proof that Comodo ranks one of the highest trusted solutions available, what's more it's FREE! and I like that kind of price!
