Never trust advice from forum posters!
By Anthony Ashard
Quite often we come across a problem that requires us to seek advice, and sometimes we visit forums to read about other users experiences with similar such problems, and sometimes posting a question or two of our own in the hope of resolving said problem. However the advice received is not always as helpful as one would have hoped for, and in some rare instances the advice is simply put, quite dangerous, malicious and misleading. Below is an example of such a posting session between a user who foolishly followed a practical joke, and then made matters a million time worse, by following the advice of another user. How true this post is, is for you to decide, but at the least you will have a really good laugh at the expense of a complete idiot. ENJOY! Click here to read the most amazing forum conversation between a hapless over-trusting user and what can only be described as a malicious forum advice giver.

Contributor's Note
Never in my life have I read such a funny and sad story, regardless of validity. I didn't stop laughing for hours.

Yeah, those people are out there. The people who prey on other people should be publicly caned as part of their punishment.

I couldn't agree more, the one thing that surprised me about this intel is that it was screened by at least nine people yet only four people actually looked at the item that is under discussion. Just goes to show that not everyone who screens ACTUALLY READS the intel being submitted! and it seems that it's only marked for what they see in front of them. SHAME ON THOSE PEOPLE! are they that desperate just to get 5-9 points? THE SCREENING PROCESS IS ONLY FAIR IF YOU READ THE ENTIRE CONTRIBUTION BEFORE MARKING IT, AT LEAST FIVE SCREENERS DID NOT READ IT!.
Take it easy Anthony. People will do what people will do. You're doing a great job -- your ratings show it. You can't control what other people do...

I'm not worried about it James, I just like to let those users know that I know they are just here for selfish gains. That sort of attitude goes towards making this planet the s**t hole that it's quickly becoming. I've been on the internet pretty much from the day it went truly global, and since then have seen oh so many changing faces of the internet populous.
