Best Secure Password Management Solution
By Anthony Ashard
I have managed a number of websites and various email accounts which all have different passwords, long complicated passwords that allow me to keep things really secure. Unfortunately my memory is far from perfect and I simply couldn't remember every password and username that I've collected over the years. Keeping the passwords long and complex means they do not require frequent changes. I've never liked or trusted windows password management, I've found that it's measures are easily circumvented to reveal your most trusted data easily with the right password cracking software. NOT GOOD! if your passwords are for your banking, PayPal and the like. SPYWARE AND MALWARE CODERS TARGET WINDOWS PASSWORD FILES! So since it's launch some years ago, I have been using a program called AI Roboform, A very secure password and form filling solution. The programs interface integrates with your browser and allows for easy one button click password filling and submitting, without the need to remember your sign-in details. Your password database can be synchronised to the AI Roboform online servers, thus allowing you worldwide very secure access to your login database. So if you're away from home/office you can log into all your favourite sites. Click here for RoboForm's main feature list. I don't want to make this sound like advertising, more akin to advice for anyone looking for password management that's worlds better than windows own password storage. Check it out, judge it for yourself, but remember I soundly recommend AI RoboForm.

I have used the paid version of RoboForm for about 6 months now, it was worth paying for, the free version is good for people that are only looking to remember a limited number of user ID's and Passwords, but if you are an Internet Marketer, you acquire squillions of ID's and when Firefox needs to be cleaned up, you loose your stored passwords, so it makes sense to have a Password Management System that works "No Matter What" I can say I would be LOST without RoboForm! Great information, I wish I knew this many years ago.
Thanks for helping us to protect our internet business once again, Anthony. We'll be following up on this shortly. Best wishes. Frederick
I`ve never used it but Roboform does have a very good reputation. It`s amazing how many Internet users have very easy to crack passwords.

I have used the free RoboForm and liked it myself.
That's interesting. I didn't know there was anything like that available -- in fact I didn't really know Windows had a password manager. I've been manually typing passwords into my personal journal in text files, which means a hacker would have to read through millions of words of personal whininess about my pain days and random observations on the weather or the news to get to any important password. They'd have to know where to look. But this is cumbersome and sometimes I forget where to look, which leaves me in that position too. I tend to remember the ones I use the most, like PayPal, but others I have to look up every time I use them. It might be very useful to have something like this!
Thanks for the reminder. The comment by Magreth is indeed worth noting. The free version allows unlimited records for just 30 days after that it restricts you to 10 records. So if you add more than the 10 records make sure you are in a position to purchase the Pro version. Reg

I've used the pro version right from the onset, after having my passwords hacked by a college friend (proving a point) that windows password files were useless and very insecure. But thanks for pointing out the limitations of the trial version, I was not aware of. I've always said, if you like it, buy it...
Boy, I'm gonna have to look into this. Thanks for the great advice. Regards, Jim
Now I am feeling old fashioned. I make it a point to make all my passwords type-able with my left hand so I don't have to take my hand off the mouse.
