Apple iTunes create havoc again!
After recently offering another update from iTunes there have been many iPod/iPhone owners reporting that they have problems when connecting their devices. Problem one: When connecting, your PC may be reporting that the device you're connecting is on a USB-1.0 port and not USB-2.0 Problem two: Some iPod/iPhone users have also reported that since updating iTunes, they have not been able to connect their devices at all. Apple seem to be scratching their heads over this problem and as of today still haven't released a patch for this one (adding now to a string of errors on their part). Needless to say I have made a number of requests to Apple forums and directly to Apple technical support. but to date I have received nothing more than 'best guess' solutions, none of which have worked, and all have been time consuming, some even complicated and some even hazardous to the stability of my system. I ask anyone who reads this intel and can offer a possible solution, please read this apple forum thread and reply either by comment here or add another intel with the same title. Or even reply directly on the forum. Lastly if you own either an iPod and or an iPhone, and you have encountered any problems with your device/s I would be interested to hear from you.
